Asana
The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali define "asana" as "a position that is steady and comfortable." Asanas provide both spiritual and physical benefits improving flexibility, strength, and balance. You will learn an extensive number of poses covering forward bends, backbends, twists, inversions, and more.

Anatomy
21 on-demand video lectures accompanied by quizzes organized around the entire body. A comprehensive anatomy education with live Q & A sessions to answer questions and discuss difficulties. Anatomy is fun to learn and essential to your teaching skills.

Pranayama
Breath is life and improving access to the breath is essential to good health and successful aging. Pranayama is an ancient breath technique that originates from yogic practices in India. It involves controlling your breath in different styles and lengths.

Philosophy
This teacher training program will unearth some of the hidden gems in some of the main yoga texts including the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, The Bhagavad Gita, and The Hatha Yoga Pradipika. The basic tenets of yoga philosophy are profoundly applicable in our modern-day lives.

Sequencing
Sequencing a yoga class is both an art and a science. It's an opportunity to join together movement, breath, and intention to create transformative experiences for your students. By considering students’ needs, and accounting for practical factors, you can curate a yoga class that resonates deeply, by designing sequences that are purposeful, inclusive, and empowering.

Alignment
For some reason, alignment has become a dirty word in a lot of yoga teaching. But to quote the father of modern yoga, B.K.S Iyengar: “We practice asana to create an environment of quiet and ease in the body so that the mind can also dwell in quiet and ease.” Alignment matters in the search for the balance of body, mind, and spirit.
